The shoulder armor strapped along his left shoulder has three rather large bolts coming from. Yes, this is the attire of a First Class SOLDIER, a definable marking of the class embedded into a crest on the belt.

Cloud has never been the most social of butterflies, not too many people getting an opportunity to get close to him; for anyone to be able to find the sensitivity behind distant blue eyes is a near miracle for he will usually find himself avoiding people. Despite this, whatever friends he does have are held in high regard to him and will not hesitate to protect those that he loves. In the face of battle, he is known to be very headstrong, not knowing when to give up.

[HISTORY]

Cloud Strife; his past entails of near to none cherished memories, all the while the negative memories leave a crater to burden and plague his mind in great numbers. Home remembered him and his friends as saviors to the planet, an old face that torments him, Sephiroth's reign having been put to a fortunate and timely cease. Despite these conditions and the concept of victory present about them, the young blonde was prone to a state of solitude and solemn contempt; he left the group shortly afterwards, seeking answers to his many questions. Why couldn't he open his eyes to the truth sooner before he found himself hurt? Most importantly; why had Cloud let her die? Aeris' death had paid its toll on his conscious as he still has yet to find forgiveness within himself for his apparent 'sin'. With a year's time to himself in the now lonely world, the youth had come to conclude that he would forever remain unforgiven in his own mindset. Besides, with the flower girl gone, nobody else seemed to have a capability to convince him otherwise. He needed to get away from it all; away from the past that haunted him, even if it meant to leave everything behind. And so, Cloud happened upon an advertisement for an educational academy. Bizarre enough, this whole new start was positioned on the moon, run by a wealthy man by the name of Cid Kramer. It was not as if this place was cold and empty (much like what Cloud felt within himself right now); it represented a new frontier, hope, technology like none that youth had ever witnessed before. Most important, it was a new life. To take a chance, he could leave his past to the planet and a future to rest in the hands of Ergheiz. Consciously, Cloud left his burdens behind as he enrolled in the college there. Subconsciously however, no matter how hard the 'would be' Ex-SOLDIER tried, ...the flames, the silencing of an innocent girl, the corruption that the planet had to undergo, would forever plague him and hold strong to him like a scar. He could never forget...and he could never forgive. Cloud Strife is currently 23 years of age, attending the Ergheiz Educational Institution as a freshman of the university standards.
